Lick of the Month – June 2017

In this phrase we’re using one of my favourite rudiments – the swiss triplet. It’s a very musical rudiment that works well orchestrated on the drums. This time we’re phrasing it in 16th notes as opposed to triplets and we’re also adding an extra ‘together’ note to make a group of four every third time.
