Groove Library – Songo Groove

This is a fun groove to play on the drums. It’s not a traditional latin groove but it’s a good starting point if you’re unfamiliar with latin styles. It’s a groove that has developed specifically for drum set and is kind of a ‘funkified’ latin groove often found in jazz and fusion music. There’ll be a part two where we’ll look at some great variations to really add that latin flavour.
