Lick of the Month – June 2016

This month’s phrase was inspired by some Keith Carlock-esque fills. He uses a lot of double strokes and often plays interesting phrases just on the snare with accents on bass drum & cymbals. The fill in this lesson is basically just a 5-stroke roll but we start on the doubles rather than starting on the accent.
