Here’s a more up-to-date set-up lesson. Setting up your drums in a manner than allows you to move freely and easily is extremely important and is a subject often overlooked by drummers. We have all tried to set-up our drums like our favourite drummers and while it can be interesting to experiment, you need to find something that makes sense for the music you play, the grip you play etc. Try this off-set bass drum idea – it has made my set-up SO much better.
