Lick of the Month – October 2016

This month’s lick is a really cool snare drum phrase that I use quite often. It can be orchestrated to include tom accents but I prefer the snare drum version. It’s a bold and precise phrase that can be used in any situation and it’s also a great control exercise for the hands because of the flams and dynamics.
