Lick of the Month – February 2018

A quite challenging phrase for this month’s lick. It’s just 16th note triplets but the middle part where the bass drum note are placed is difficult to get even and smooth. Remember to take it very slow and methodically work through it bit-by-bit. Even if this is very challenging for you and/or you can’t see yourself using this in your playing, these kind of phrases are still very beneficial to work through – for your coordination and dynamics practice.
