Lick of the Month – March 2018

This month’s phrase could be described as a ‘groove lick’ – something that doesn’t interrupt the flow of the groove or involve the toms but adds excitement and interest to what’s already going on.

It’s pretty simple – just singles – but as usual, it’s HOW we play it. The dynamics, smoothness and timing are what makes it stand out and sound great.
