No Talking Just Playing Vol.1

This series will show some of my practice sessions and I’ll discuss what I’m working on. In this particular video, this was the first touch of the drums after a few days off & it shows what I’ll typically do – warm up on the snare a little bit and then pick a few tempos/grooves and try to get things feeling smooth, and also throw in some improvising.

I also worked on, albeit briefly, a tom roll idea that I saw Thomas Lang demonstrate.
