A very unfortunate and unforeseen delay has caused me to be stuck in London for an extra three weeks waiting for my passport. So, the videos will look a little different, but only for two weeks. The information hasn’t suffered as I’m bringing you some serious hand exercises!
Here we go with some unison exercises on the pad. Remember, it’s all wrist strokes here. No fingers. No arms. We want to isolate the wrists and preferably play these patterns on a pad with no rebound for maximum effect.
Always use a click and push the tempos! I demonstrated 80 and 95 bpm but in my actual practice my jumps in tempo would not be so extreme.
