Play-Along Lesson – Chromazone Vamp

This is one of Mike Stern’s most well known songs. It’s really fun to play to whether it’s just grooving or soloing. I’ve included two versions (regular speed and slower version) for you to practice to. In the lesson I go over how to learn the riff and then explain a few groove ideas as well as some soloing ideas at the end. Have fun and try to check out some versions on YouTube with Weckl and Chambers playing drums.
