Transcription Series – Mike Stern ‘Drum Solos’ Video

After several requests for lessons detailing certain licks or phrases that I played in various videos, here is the first lesson featuring fills from the Mike Stern ‘Drum Solos’ video.

I discuss three separate phrases – a 32nd note 2-beat fill at 0:41, a 32nd note phrase at 0:13 and a 16th note triplet lick at 2:42. The original video can be found under performance videos.
