Lick of the Month – June 2020

This phrase has a few interesting things going on – a group of five that repeats three times, a double-right sticking down from the tom plus the phrase going into the next bar before allowing groove to settle. All these elements can be taken and experimented with in other settings. Still, on it’s own this phrase is pretty tasty!
