Hand Exercise – Left Hand Lead Workout 2

Here’s a very simple but effective workout for the hands; one that’s particularly challenging for the left hand. The idea is to push yourself and work until failure, using the 3/4 bar to take a break. This serves as a great warm-up at the drums or an intense endurance exercise on a no-rebound pad!

Thnx for the inspiration! Great workout!
Glad you like it! Thanks!
Great left hand workout!! Thank you Louie. Rick Latham sticks?? Thank you!
Glad you liked it! Yes, Latham sticks – I switch between those and the Marco Zinnemann model.
Hi Louie, What practice pad would you recommend that has the best Real feel (snare) ? thanks Louie
Hi James – I love the Reflexx pad (now made by Zildjian). One side is a great workout/no rebound surface and the ‘bouncy’ side isn’t too bouncy like most pads; it’s still realistic to play. The Prologix blackout pad is great too.
Thanks Louie, I will check out both of them. James
