Hey Louie, Happy Holidays! Great L.O.T.M. What is your current set-up? And what Heads are you currently using? I noticed an extra Floor Tom on your left (18)? P.S. still looking forward to another Double Kick Pedal lesson.. Thx , James
Hi James – that’s just a 14″ snare on my left. Setup is currently 10×7, 13×9, 14 and 16 floors with a 22 kick. Have UV1 heads on top and always clear G1’s underneath. UV1 on snares also. I was using G12’s for a while (a slightly thicker single-ply head) which I still like, but ultimately I prefer the single-ply feel.

Great phrase! Do you have any tips on how to make such lick stick (besides lots and lots of repetition).
Glad you like it! It’s nothing but repetition. It has to become so second nature that it just starts to come out when you play. Memorizing it is the first step, so you no longer need the PDF. Then it’s just lots and lots of repetition!
