    Inspiring!
Will you post lessons on finger control (for left-hand, traditional grip) as well as the wrist exercises I have encountered in the hands section? Or will the fingers take care of themselves for the most part once my wrists are faster and able to do more? Many thanks!

    • Hi Mike! Thanks for the comment. I thought I touched on finger control for traditional grip in part 2 of the ‘Traditional Grip’ lessons but perhaps not in enough detail. I will add this to the list of lessons. For now, just work on turning the hand over (palm down) and using the top two fingers to bounce the stick. This needs to be worked on first in order to have control when you go back to the normal hand position.

Fantastic and smooth as usual Louie! Do you have any stuff on the comping your’e doing between 2:10 and the 5 minute mark? Especially between the snare/hats/foot underneath the swing pattern and also the faster triplets/16ths combos. Very cool.
    Keep up the great work.

    • Hi Dean. Thanks for the comment! I’ve added your query to the lesson list and will get to it as soon as I can! It’s generally simple vocabulary with the left hand, just played at a faster tempo. The fast triplet stuff contains a lot of the 16th note triplet vocab that’s already on the site (lot’s of the licks featuring groups of 9) just orchestrated between ride/snare/kick – but I will go through it and try to break it down!

      Thanks!

      Louie
