Left Hand Lead Workout

This is a fantastic exercise for your left hand. It’ll expose your timing and dynamics as well as give you a great endurance workout. It’s important to concentrate as you transition through the note rates and to not let the accents affect your timing. It’s also great practice for leading with your left hand, which you should do as much as possible!

    • This takes time. Make sure your thumb isn’t trying to point backwards…it should be resting on the index finger. I talk about this & other tips for traditional in the early lessons in the hand technique course so definitely be sure to check that out!
