Love this little phrase that I selected for July’s lick of the month. This can be used in a variety of different ways – we can change the accents, the orchestration and how much we use it.

Love the way that second 16th note comes in just a bit late to get that swing feel. Great to hear all the different variations coming from just changing accents and/or orchestration. Great lick.
