Lick of the Month – May 2018

For this month’s lick we’re just playing a bar of 16th notes but playing a group of 5 that repeats over and over. No double kick notes here but the way the hands and feet interact with single notes back & forth adds difficulty. This phrase may sound complicated at first but stick with it – go as slow as you need to in order to internalise that group of 5.
